Legally Blonde 2: Red, White & Blonde

This summer. . . justice is blonde.

Ohmygosh, it's just so--- pink!!

If you thought 'Legally Blonde 1' was light and fluffy, then you'll know what to expect for number two. A light confection that lies in permanent danger of being blown away in the first real puff of wind.

Elle Woods, the frothy, feisty junior lawyer-in-training from 'Legally Blonde' returns to fight the most henious injustice of animal testing. Her dog's parents cannot attend a wedding with the papmered pooch, due to complications involving experimentation, so Elle begins a campaign to change the legislation on animal testing that will take her all the way to DC and Congress in a perfectly manicured and cutely coiffured crusade.

Proving that pink is the new- er- pink ("oh my God, it's Capital Barbie!"), and that it is still possible to have a heart *and* be in politics (always provided this is a fairy-tale story, of course), Elle simpers and squeaks her way through a series of lighthearted mishaps and deadlines, her 'dogged' persistance helping her to win the day, marry her beau and still have time to shop for shoes.

An easy evening's viewing- a no-brainer that's fun and happy and ultimately a warm, feel good fuzzy of a film.
