When her husband is taken hostage by his striking employees, Catherine Deneuve takes the reins of the family business - but business and personal complications arrive in the considerable form of her ex-lover (Gerard Depardieu), a former union leader. We are always on the look out for good comedies and this 70s feminist satire about a trophy wife (potiche) is entertaining and heart warming stuff.
