One of her last stage roles was as Vera Kurton in The Third Visitor at the Granville Theatre in Walham Green in Jan 1946. After this she mainly appeared on television and radio until her retirement in the late 1950's.
She acted in a number of small budget UK films in the 1930s and 1940s. Her biggest part being Mary Norton in Brief Enounter.
She was married to Graeme Muir.
