A spacecraft traveling to a distant colony planet and transporting thousands of people has a malfunction in its sleep chambers. As a result, two passengers are awakened 90 years early.

Review: Passengers

The script for Passengers has sat on the blacklist for several years, and it is not difficult to see why. The plot is interesting at first, but it doesn’t seem to have the strength of its convictions.
